1. Who is responsible
The data controller is the sole trader identified above. The service is offered under the trade name shown in that notice.
To exercise your rights, email the contact address above.
2. Data we process
Depending on how you use Benwer Cars, we may process account and business data (name, email, company details, fleet, bookings, and customer records entered by a rental operator), booking details sent by end customers through that operator's channels, technical usage data (logs, device, browser, and IP address), and messages you send to support.
3. Why we use it
We use personal data to provide and maintain the platform, take subscription payments, authenticate users, answer support requests, and meet legal duties.
4. Legal bases
Where they apply, we rely on contract, legitimate interests in running and protecting the service, consent when it is required, and legal obligation.
5. Processors and sharing
We do not sell personal data. Processors act on our instructions: Firebase Authentication (Google) for sign-in, Stripe for payment, and hosting and email providers.
WhatsApp support opens in the WhatsApp app and does not load third-party scripts on this site. Each rental company remains responsible for the customer data it collects on its own channels.
6. Retention
We keep data for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with the law, and handle claims. You can ask for deletion when the applicable law allows it.
7. Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to certain processing. You can also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD). If you are in the United Kingdom, you can complain to the ICO.
8. International transfers
If a processor handles data outside the European Economic Area, we use appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, when the law requires them.
9. Changes
We will publish any revised version on this page and update the date above.
